Dr. Hall has been with Accent Physician Specialists since October 2009. Dr. Hall’s practice specializes in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive surgery, and is considered to have exceptional expertise in rhinoplasty and nasal surgery.

Dr. Hall was born in Massachusetts and moved to Southwest Florida at an early age. He attended the University of Florida and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree with a major of Zoology. During his time at UF, Dr. Hall fell in love with the Gainesville community and vowed to return one day.

After college, Dr. Hall attended the University of Miami School of Medicine and graduated with Research Distinction. During that time, Dr. Hall was on a United States Army Scholarship. Dr. Hall developed a passion for volunteerism while at UMSM, spending a large portion of his free time at Camillus House, a student run health clinic to benefit the homeless population of Miami.

Dr. Hall then moved to Honolulu, Hawaii where he completed a General Surgery internship and Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery residency at Tripler Army Medical Center. During residency, Dr. Hall continued his volunteerism through humanitarian missions to Palau and Guam. Dr. Hall was instrumental in developing a study program for the annual Otolaryngology residents’ inservice exam which led to Tripler consistently scoring in the top 5 Otolaryngology programs in the country. Dr. Hall was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for his research efforts and the Meritorious Service Medal for his performance as a Chief Resident.

During his residency, Dr. Hall developed a passion for Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and performed over 500 such procedures, a number that easily placed him in the top percentile of all Otolaryngology and Plastic Surgery residents.

Upon graduation, Dr. Hall was selected for further fellowship training in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California- Irvine. At UC-Irvine, Dr. Hall broadened his expertise in private practice and university based cosmetic and reconstructive procedures.

After completion of fellowship training, Dr. Hall returned to Tripler Army Medical Center where he became Chief of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. There he was responsible for the education of the Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery residents in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. Tripler Army Medical Center is one of the Army’s busiest hospitals, and is the Army’s busiest Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery center. At Tripler, Dr. Hall performed hundreds of cosmetic procedures every year. In addition, he was the Surgical Team Leader for the Tripler Cleft Lip & Palate/ Craniofacial Surgery Team. Dr. Hall was also the Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon for the Army’s Head & Neck Cancer Center of Excellence.

Dr. Hall’s interest in volunteerism and humanitarian efforts blossomed at Tripler Army Medical center. Dr. Hall became active in Operation Smile, performing cleft lip and palate and reconstructive surgeries in Morocco, China, and Cambodia. Dr. Hall also became the Surgical Team Leader for Operation T-Smiles and the Pacific World Care Program, a joint effort between Tripler Army Medical Center, Operation Smile, and the World Healing Institute. Through this program, Dr. Hall coordinated and provided craniofacial reconstructive surgery for children from Southeast Asia. Dr. Hall served as an advisor to the Board of Directors of the World Healing Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to the integration of Western medicine and alternative and complementary medicine for children with complex craniofacial disorders.

After 5 years as Chief of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Tripler Army Medical Center, Dr. Hall decided to leave the military specifically to move to Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Hall left the military with 11 years active duty experience and numerous awards, to include the Meritorious Service Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, the Joint Service Commendation Medal, the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, three Overseas Duty Ribbons, and many more. Dr. Hall has also authored online book chapters, print book chapters, numerous journal articles, and has published medical illustrations. Dr. Hall has lectured on cosmetic and reconstructive surgery at local, regional and national meetings, and has also lectured internationally.

Dr. Hall has been with Accent Physician Specialists since October 2009. Dr. Hall’s practice specializes in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive surgery, and is considered to have exceptional expertise in rhinoplasty and nasal surgery. He also performs the full range of cosmetic surgery of the face, such as eyelid surgery, facelifts, and otoplasty. Dr. Hall also does an extensive amount of skin cancer reconstructive surgery.

While specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, Dr. Hall also maintains a general otolaryngology practice. His specific interests are sinus surgery and allergy treatment, to include sublingual immunotherapy, as well as thyroid, parathyroid, and head and neck cancer surgery.

Whether it is cosmetic facial surgery or general otolaryngology, Dr. Hall’s practice philosophy remains the same. He strives to provide the most expert care available, on a cost-effective basis. Dr. Hall is very conservative in his practice approach, and is adamant about delivering care to his patients while avoiding unnecessary tests or procedures that increase costs to the patient. Dr. Hall realizes the expenses involved in medical care, and he wants the patient to get the best care possible while limiting these costs.

In addition to medicine, Dr. Hall is an avid reader and also enjoys art and painting. Dr. Hall is also a fly fisherman and fly tyer. Four of Dr. Hall’s bonefish flies are featured by the Orvis Company. Dr. Hall is married to a pediatrician and public health specialist, and he and his wife have one child.
